Other Services
Ante-natal clinic
These clinics are held by the midwifes at a local Childrens Centre.
Immunisations
Immunisations are by appointment.
Please note, if a child attends for vaccinations with someone other than a parent, for example a nanny, you must provide a signed letter of consent for the vaccinations to be given. Without this letter we will be unable to vaccinate your child.
Sexual Health Services/Contraceptive Services
We offer a full confidential advice, investigation and treatment service for sexually transmitted diseases on a daily basis. A full contraceptive service is also provided (not vasectomy)
Counselling
We have some facilities for short-term counselling within the Practice. Access to this service is by doctor's referral only.
Emergency Dental Care
If you need to see a dentist out of hours
- call your dentist: their answerphone may advise where to get out-of-hours treatment
- call NHS 111 to find an out-of-hours dental service near you
Don't contact your GP, as they won't be able to offer emergency or out-of-hours dental care.
If you're in pain while waiting to see a dentist, take painkillers. NHS 111 can also offer other self care advice.
